How to get involved in Project Gargoyle

Taking images for Project Gargoyle

If you would like to volunteer to help photograph churches in Leicestershire and Rutland we would be very pleased to hear from you. You will need a high-specification digital camera with a zoom lens of 300mm or more as many carvings are high-up in the church. Many of our photographers are members of camera clubs though this is not necessary. Full training on how to record carvings for Project Gargoyle is provided on a one-to-one basis.

If you would like to volunteer please see our contact page.

The Project Coordinator is Bob Trubshaw. Copies of the recording sheets used by Project Gargoyle volunteers are available here.
